All Work and No Work Makes Jack a Work Work

Things have been very busy for me lately. School aside, I have some significant plans to revamp Oblivio so that I can simplify it and it can be “enjoyed by real humans.” I’m also doing a lot of work on Shrapman, which is way more fun to work on. If all goes according to plan, I’ll have both complete by January. The problem of course… is that I never really have a plan.

Those two things aside, I also spent a very intense afternoon recently, writing down as many of my game design theories as I could, resulting in six pages (and growing) by the end of the day. Now that I look back at what I wrote, I’m not entirely sure if I agree with everything I say. Although, I do certainly value my own opinion more when it comes to game-controls than when it comes to game-story. I am very opinionated in both, however.

The bottom line is that much is brewing on the horizon and I plan to be making some serious changes and additions to this blog-portfolio-thing. I’m pretty sure that no one is reading this anyways. So I guess I’ll just get started then.
